Welcome to St. John’s church community! We extend a warm invitation to all individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs, to join us in our services. Our doors are open to everyone, and we seek to create a welcoming and inclusive space for all who enter.
One of the central aspects of our worship is the celebration of the Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion as it symbolizes unity with Christ and the Christian faith. We invite all baptized individuals to partake in this communal and spiritual experience.
In addition to our local community, we are in full communion with several other churches, including the Anglican Church, the Church of Ireland, the Church in Wales, as well as the broader Episcopal and Anglican Churches worldwide. This connection allows us to share in the rich traditions and values that bind us together as Anglicans.
We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where individuals can explore their faith, find solace in the company of fellow believers, and actively participate in the life of the church. Whether you are seeking spiritual guidance, a place of worship, or a community that embraces diversity, we extend a heartfelt invitation to you to join us and embark on a meaningful journey of faith and fellowship.
We celebrate Sunday worship with the Eucharist at 10.30am every Sunday except 5th Sundays where we alternate with our sister church St Ninian's. Check our website for details.
On the last Thursday of the month we hold an informal worship usually with lunchtime refreshments at 12.30pm.
This is often aligned with Advent/Lent discussions.
Find out how you can get involved in our church community, from volunteering to joining a small group. We welcome everyone to come as they are and get connected.
